Analysts compared all 50 states and Washington D.C. by the prevalence of obesity, health consequences, and food and fitness.

The website evaluated those dimensions using 19 metrics. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the fattest state.

According to the most recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than seven in 10 U.S. adults aged 20 and older are either overweight or obese.
